Programs Specific Outcome
- Develop Basic Principles of Indian Music & Biographies of Musicians Tansen, Ustad Shahid Parvez, Ustad Zakir Hussain, Ustad Amir Khan.
- Develop Basic knowledge of Playing Alankars on Sitar and Harmonium.
- Develop the Ability to recite the Tãlas with Tãli & Khãli with Thah and Dugun.
- Develop the ability to Khyãl, Maseet Khani – Razakhani gat, Dhrupad, Tarana, meend, Soot, Murki, Kan, Khatka, Krintan, Harmony, Melody.
- Develop an understanding of Granthas: Natyashastra, Sangeet Ratnakar, Brihaddeshi, Sangeet-Parijat, Swaramela Kalanidhi, Chaturdandi Prakasika.
- Understanding various parts of Tanpura /Sitar and the technique of tuning it.
- After completing the program students are eligible for stage performance and competitive exams.
