Eligibility Conditions
A candidate passed in the Senior Secondary (+2) examination (academic stream) conducted by the HP Board of School
Education or an examination accepted as equivalent to it by the various bodies of the HP University ;
- Provided that the candidate who has passed the qualifying examination with science stream shall be given preference in admission to B.Sc./ BCA programme.
- Provided that the candidates who have passed the qualifying examination with commerce stream shall be given preference in admission to B.Com. programme.
- For B.A., the candidate must have passed 10+2 in any stream; and is eligible.
Age Limit :
23 years (25 years for girls) as of 1st July 2021.
There will be a relaxation of 3 years for SC/ST students (both girls and boys).
The Principal, at his discretion, may give a relaxation of 6 months to the eligible students.
As per the University Ordinance/ Rules, a candidate who has appeared in the National Open School Examination shall be
eligible to take the admission in B.A./B.Sc./BCA 1st year only if he/she has passed/ cleared all the five papers
including English with requisite pass percentage.
The above-mentioned eligibility criteria are subject to the fulfilment of the eligibility conditions of HPU Shimla.
NO ADMISSION FOR +2 COMPARTMENT CASES
